Director - Timothy Slack-Smith
With over 20 years of expertise in agriculture, irrigation systems, pumping, and property management, Timothy Slack-Smith brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to the business. As the Company Director of Slack-Smith Farms and TJSS Management, Tim also operates multiple businesses across farming, investment, and business services.
A third-generation farmer from Brewarrina, Tim and his family have a deep-rooted connection to Western NSW, with additional properties, business and family in Wellington, NSW. His strategic mindset and analytical approach allow him to assess challenges, identify opportunities, and develop effective solutions for clients.

With tertiary qualifications in agriculture and extensive hands-on experience in pumps, irrigation system design, machinery operation, and plant maintenance, Tim leads a highly skilled, professional, and results-driven team. Having operated businesses across Brisbane, Goondiwindi, Brewarrina, and Wellington—servicing areas across South East QLD—Tim and his team are committed to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.

Our family’s dedication to public service runs deep, with several members actively contributing to political, leadership, and support roles across various local Councils. Timothy is an integral part of the community, holding key leadership positions, including presidency roles at the local RSL Club and Jockey Club.
April and Timothy share a blended family with five children and are deeply involved in local sports organizations. They are passionate about fostering educational excellence and creating future opportunities for the next generation.

Her extensive background spans multiple industries, including mining, construction, local government, agriculture, hospitality, and healthcare, where she has held key roles in compliance, advisory, and regulatory management.
As an integral part of our business, based in Wellington, NSW, April services a broad client base extending from Western NSW up to Far North QLD.

April's career began in Workplace Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Human Resource Management, working on BHP and Newcrest sites. She then transitioned into construction safety and environmental compliance, contributing to multi-million-dollar government refurbishment and demolition projects. Her expertise in occupational hygiene, hazardous materials management, asbestos control, and health monitoring played a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
Her career further expanded into local government and mining advisory services, where she worked closely with mining operators and regulators to uphold WHS Mining Legislation compliance. She has led the development of comprehensive WHS and environmental risk assessments for:
